Pre-Next Generation Fund connectivity as a 'food' label.
The following label was generated by a hunt for a 'healthy' loaf of white bread. The information on salt, sugar and fibre seems no more complex than explaining the composition of a connectivity service. I have labelled this a pre-next generation fund connectivity service. The first varient of this was available in 2008 and it is good to see the FCC discussing food labelling as appropriate for Broadband in January 2010.
Good labelling would do a great deal to inform customers as to the true nature of their connectivity. The label below is some way representative of todays connectivity services. Simply, I am guessing the planning rules that must exist for each ISP package.
